L’attuale primo cittadino correrà per la rielezione. Alle consultazioni primarie hanno votato in 7348 (voti validi 7303). In 4464 hanno riconfermato il sindaco uscente (61,1%) ed in 2839 hanno votato per la sfidante Anna Rita Fioroni (38,9%).
